Her white paws were a bit dirty, but the rest of her pure white pelt was perfectly clean. The arctic female had just finished cleaning her pelt not long ago of blood and dirt. Her appetite was now satisfied after finishing a young baby deer. It had been an easy catch considering she was bigger then the tiny creature. She was swift enough to be able to chase it away from it's family. After killing and eating the young fawn, she had done a thorough job of cleaning her pelt. Once she was clean she had walked off from the carcass, letting any scavengers have the rest of it.
She licked her lips as she wandered around these strange new lands. Her silky black wings were folded against her sides. Her long white legs carried her slowly through the lands. Her fluffy tail waved behind her as she sauntered about. So far she hadn't smelled anything out of the ordinary. No other wolves, no predators, nothing. Her red ears twitched on her head as she listened to the sound of birds chirping. It was spring time, so many animals were pairing off and having babies. She scowled at the thought of settling down, though deep down it was something she really wanted. But she wasn't about to show that or admit it. She shook her head and let a yawn escape her red muzzle.
She was growing bored now as she slowed her pace to a stop. She looked around with her eerie red eyes and then sat back on her haunches. New scents suddenly hit her nose, realizing that she had entered a pack territory. Her tail flicked a few times before curling around her paws, sitting tall. Not that there was any other way for her to sit, for she was very tall. It wasn't really a big deal to her that she was in pack lands. But it was probably a good idea to at least let someone know. She lifted her muzzle into the air and let out a beautiful howl, simply announcing her presence. Once it was over she groaned softly and then plopped her body onto the ground. She laid lazily on the ground, stretching her wings before folding her paws in front of her. She waited to see if someone would reply to her.

Lying comfortably on a tall rock formation near by, Leviathan flicked his ears listening to the sounds of the chirping birds and the sounds of young ones being born. He looked around noticing that even though the forest was buzzing about with life, he was simply alone with nobody to talk to or even acknowledge that he was there. Leviathan was the type that, while liking the fact that he was alone, he also liked to be in small groups, and being the leader of that group no less.
His large mass stood up and shook out his pelt softly, his ears still twitching as he listened. Off in the distance, there was what seemed to be a young famme out in the distance. His orbs scanned the area for where a loud, but beautiful howl had come from. Leviathan looked down to see the beautiful white female only feet away from him, down in the brush while he was still watching from the rock formation where he liked to nap. He decided to climb down and make sure she wasn't injured. His tail flicked side to side as he watched her with a curious attitude wanting to meet her. Leviathan's paws led him down off the rock and into her presence.
"Well well well, what is a beautiful young femme doing out here all alone?" he asked in an aloof manor, but with authority as well. He wasn't being mean, just rather standing his ground and making him seem tough and mysterious. He continued to stand there, his ears pricked and his tail waving in the air, nose twitching, his nose picking up and distinguishing her scent from all the other wolves in the area.

The gentle song flew much in the same ways as its host, the bird calls mixing and intermingling into a beautiful myriad of sound that even a creature such as she could appreciate. The silver ghost lay quiet and still as though an ancient statue planted in the fields, an unmoving guardian. A cool zephyr blew in from the west, setting her ashen fur atumble, the silvery lengths billowing in waves in the same manner as the tall grass stalks as they were kissed by the gentle breeze and drawing a contented sigh that had not left those ebonite lips in many a day, how long had it been since she had felt this sort of peace within? Molten pools were slowly concealed as the lids came down, their owner reveling in the sudden manifestation of the breeze with an instant abandon, a gentle curve even beginning to play upon her lips. She lay there at the edge of the field like a sphinx of old, paws placed nobly in front, and head held high to welcome the day.
This short moment of tranquility eventually came to an end, the natural sounds of the earth around her giving way to make room for a new sound, the call of a wolf. The smile quickly faded to be replaced by a much more serious appearance, the line becoming completely straight along her muzzle, eyes revealed once more in their general unemotional gaze. She rose slowly from her position, peppered rump being raised high in the air and legs being stretched forward to their limit in a catlike stretch, tail even higher behind until the pose was reverted, she leaning forward like a hound leaning towards the hunt. Once the movements had been completed her loosened body was set into motion, the loping gait little more than a run across the open plains, the rhythmical placement of her paws following the metronomic beat of her heart like finely tuned instrument.
As the source of the call grew nearer, her pace slowed into a gait that eventually reached a walk and upon reaching the stranger and the male of Ai was stopped altogether. Posture was assured, confident with onyx tassel held high behind her like a triumphant banner, head raised much in the same form and golden orbs holding the red ones of the other female. No words were uttered as the ashen femmes eyes surveyed the body of the stranger, honey oculars observing every detail from the lithe muscle underlying the fur to the flames that decorated her muzzle. Observation completed ashen crania turned to that of her partner as she calmly stated.
"Well dearest, you seem to be handling things nicely, but allow me make my own inquiries for moment."
Yes, taking charge in what would have been a rude manner, made to seem more polite by the gentle murmur with which she spoke it. Her head was turned back to the direction of the other female, she staring calmly directly into her ruby eyes and saying.
"Tell me stranger, why do you come to our lands?"
Straight, outright, to the point. Why waste time with the formalities when you did not know the gain. To be honest she was not altogether irritated by the appearance of a stranger, it was a natural occurrence that she would have to handle many more times as Alphess, the thing she would have to be sure of was that it was handled in a way were it did not become too common. All were welcome to Ai borders, but none could believe that they could cross in and out as they pleased without an Alphas consent.
